Antique South American Stirrup - Stirrup436 boots The short cheeks can turnThis stirrup is made of iron, it has a dark, aged patina. It comes from South America probably Argentina. This design of stirrup is known as an "estribo campana" or "bell stirrup". The lower part have pierced decoration. The suspension loop is fused in position but originally it would have been able to swivel. There are no maker's marks or stamps. Dimensions : Maximum Width 5" (14. 2cm), height 7" (17. 8), depth of tread 1" (2. 3cm) Weight : 254g
