Vintage Child's Hunting Whip or Crop with Thong - w1763 chinese Diameter 2¾" (7This early 20th century whip has a staghorn or antler hook shaped handle. It has a two silver plated collars. The plating is worn in places One collar is engraved "S. E. Simonds, Syde". There are no maker's marks or stamps. Between the collars the stock or shaft is covered in tan leather with a finely stitched seam. The rest of the stock is covered in braided linen It has its original leather open keeper or loop and a very fine braided leather thong
