Rare New Orleans Louisiana Photographer Washburn Tinted Daguerreotype 1850s armed For the next 16 yearsOriginal quarter plate daguerreotype of a beautiful woman and her cute daughter, whose dress is hand tinted blue. Hard to tell in my scan but in person, "Washburn & Co, Artists, New Orleans" is clearly visible on the pad. Housed in a full case with covers separated along the spine. It has been resealed at some point with archival tape: Condition is very good overall with a few tiny mat abrasions. Boxed and signed Priority Mail.
