Cabaret Voltaire dropped their debut LP in 1979, but they were going for a full six years prior to the release of Mix Up. The 1974 76 compilation collects some of the groups home demos from their formative years. Rough around the edges, but you can hear Richard H Kirk, Stephen Mallinder and Chris Watson honing their pioneering sound in real time here.
