Busoga (Uganda) Military or police gilt cap badge us army The battalion was reconstituted inExceptional quality gilded brass cap breast badge made by DOWLER BIRMINGHAM. During the colonial and immediate postcolonial period, several Ugandan kingdoms ( such as Busoga) had their own police or local administrative forces with distinct badges based on their traditional emblems. This must be one of those badges issued under the Uganda Protectorate or in the early years after independence but whom exactly wore it is a mystery to me.
